April 29, 2016: Plaintiffs File their Brief in Opposition to Uber’s Motion to Dismiss and Compel Arbitration

Plaintiffs filed an opposed brief on April 29, 2016, arguing, among other things, that they had opted out of Uber’s arbitration program.  Indeed, Uber’s most recent “Driver Agreement,” from December 2015, permitted drivers to opt out of arbitration within 30 days of its execution.  Plaintiffs, and some 240 other Philadelphia UberBLACK drivers, had sent Uber opt out notices within the 30 day period.
