June 16, 2017 and Aug. 4, 2017: Plaintiffs argue that they should be paid for time spent online.

Plaintiffs’ filed their opposition brief on June 16, 2017 and their supplemental brief on August 4, 2017.  Plaintiffs contend that drivers should receive wages for time spent online because they are ready and waiting for fares, which benefits Uber.  Plaintiffs further argue that drivers must be paid for time spent driving to and transporting customers since that is the entire purpose of Uber.

The Court is expected to render a decision within the next few months.
