About the Lawsuit

Razak, et al. v. Uber Technologies, Inc., et al., Civ. No. 16-0573 (E.D. Pa)

UberBLACK drivers filed a putative class action in federal court in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The lawsuit claims that Uber and its subsidiary, Gegen, misclassify UberBLACK drivers as independent contractors. The lawsuit seeks wages and reimbursement of business expenses for UberBLACK drivers operating in Philadelphia.

Uber cannot retaliate against its drivers for participating in this lawsuit.
